Topic: 5 weeks after landing, still no PR card

I am worried because the landing documents I received at the airport states "PR card arrives in 4 weeks". The number does not work in US. Thanks a lot and good luck to all you guys!

Topic: 5 weeks after landing, still no PR card

We landed Canada on 09/07. Till now we still have not received the physical PR card. Is that normal? Can we do something to check / speed up the process? Many thanks

Topic: H1B 8th year extension! Premium Processing! today is the 16th day!

I have filed H1B 8th year extension (same employer) by Premium Processing CSC. Today is the 16th day! I got a RFE on 08/08 and replied on the same day. On 08/13 there was an update on my case saying "hear from us within 60days after receiving the evidence".
I paid 1000usd myself for Premium Processing because I want it done in 15 days. Just because RFE I have to wait 60 days? I got RFE is weird also as this is my 3rd time extension. Never had any RFE before.
I tried contact them but their fax is down.... sad, as I need to travel abroad soon.

Famma, I am sorry to hear your story and hope you and your family are well. May I ask which Port of Entry you went? Peace Arch or Blaine? Best to you!

Topic: Should I visit Canada for Passport Stamping?

I am planning to land in Canada this september while my 485 is pending. I 've also read the scary post. I will go to US embassy directly for a H1B stamp without even try to use AP. I believe that using AP is the major problem for that tragedy.

Topic: Just an observation!

For some chinese, it is more comfortable to use chinese characters (no we do not have special keyboard but we can input chinese characters). Another reason is, in other forums, people can ask chinese specific questions (how many of you really care about EB1/2/3 China PD?). Why not discuss things in forums that everybody is in the same boat so you can have more answers? Talk about sharing, I have been asking questions here and there and answer things that I do know.

Topic: Just an observation!

We have other forums (chinese site) and usually we discuss issues there.
