I had my EAD renewal application approved in July, i received my card, but i never got any approval notice (I-797). Do you guys think it is normal to get just the new card without the approval notice. Thanks for any inputs. |

1. I applied for AP back in April, and got it approved i May, it took me a month
2. Once they cash out the check you should receive a receipt notice
3. The approval notice is the document you need to travel abroad. It is a paper with your personal data and your picture.

No, EAD is part of your AOS aplication and is not visa class. You have to put the initials for the visa of entry, e.g. F-1, B-1, H-1, J-1..... |
