Topic: When do they send card ?

Yes, when you get approval notice sent, it means your GC is mailed. You should get it in a day or two.

Topic: is it normal to get LUDs a week before interview?

Yes, soft LUD means without change in status. There was no change in status. Btw I need your good wishes as the interview is in a few hours from now.

Topic: Expiring finger prints and interview

My spouse has an interview coming up and her finger prints are just 5 days short of 15 months on the date of interview. Will she be asked for fresh finger prints before a decision?

Topic: Honest Predictions for EB3-INDIA 2004 PRIORITY DATE

Looks like you want to hear what you like to hear.. that is you will be approved very soon.. lol
Truth is bitter. If everything goes the way it is going, it should take about 3 years.

Topic: I-140 Approved

You have to wait for your PD to become current, which could take a decade or longer depending on your country of birth.

Don't scare him with your pessimistic views. It could happen much sooner if visa recapture bill is passed or new administration brings in some relief. He can switch to EB2 or EB1 if he becomes eligible in future. He can still claim his old PD. He can claim CC if he marries to someone from ROW. There are many options which can get him approval much faster.

Can a marriage certificate issued by consulate of india be accepted by uscis? I could not get it from a court in india as they want both parties to be present there. What are my options? Can someone please advise?

Topic: notice date and receive date

Notice date is the date when notice is sent to you acknowledging the receipt of your application. Receipt date is the date when your application is actually received in the mail room of uscis. Your application is processed in order of receipt date.
Notice date can be weeks later but you go by Receipt date.

Topic: 245i employment based

krustycat.. Yes, I am sure about porting PD for FB to EB in cases of 245(i). Employer has to show the ability to pay only from the day labor was filed. Employer has nothing to do with FB I/130.
But in this case, I don't understand why the original poster is not covered under child status protection. If his petition was denied because it was wrongly filed, he/she may not be covered under 245(i). The basic requirement for claiming 245(i) is that the petition must have been filed before 4/30/01 and it must be approvable when filed. It may have been denied due to some change in circumstances. For example an I/130 is denied because of a divorce. If the relationship existed at the time of filing of petition, it will considered as approvable when filed. Such person can file another petition or as many petitions during his life until such person is able to adjust status.
