I got my approval letter, "welcome to united states of America" for my wife and myslef yestrday on April 13, 2009 and it says the card will come in three weeks. My case status has not changed since I gave my finger printing in December 2008.

not sure but my advance parole was approved on February10, but the case status still shows "Case received and pending" and my 485 case had a LUD on February 10, 2008.

I am with TSC and my wife also and she did her FP yesterday she had a LUD yesterday and one today

It almost been 30 days and I still have to received anything neither my wife. When I called them today they USCIS tells me to call next week becuase its just 29 days and that the holiday and everything will delay letters.

So I guess I will call them again next week. I even tool an infopass appointment and the office could tell either what the document was.

also forgot to mention both me and my wifes case got the same status just teh day after our Fingere printing.

I got the very same messgae on december 10h, 2008 and no one knows what it is. I even got an infopass and she did no know either. she said wait 30 days and call USCIS so I will have to call next monday on Kanuary 12, 2009 to check what it is.

They said it maybe because my attorney changed their address. My wife had the same update and it has been like 25 days and no letter nada!!

anyways guys I have not got any document in the mail it more than a week. But I will write back and update the post if I get any document.

The strange thing is that me and my wife had FP one week apart and I had mine on 12/09/2008 and I had this status the next day and my wife had her FP on 12/18/2008 and today the 19th this status shows up on her I485 also.

I did too, I got the same mail for my485 on December 10, 2008 and for my wife today on the 19th. Both happened after we gave our FP.

No idea what it is. I called the USCIS and she said it because they send me some response to a serivice request. So no clue.

I have a similar message after FP, did you get anything from the USCIS ccomaya?

Did you get any response because my spouce and myself got the same response soon after FP.

My wifes and my case shows up as "Current Status: Document mailed to applicant" the nxt day after fingure printing, any ideas guys the USCIS just tell me to wait 30 days to see what they have mailed because they dont know what it is.

Any insight into this status for i485 will be helpfull from all the experts out there... thanking you in advance.

My wife was added to my application on July 2008 and she still has not received fingure printing. When i called them today they said her application is not even started to be worked on and she will have to wait. I was wondering if anyone on the same boat.

How long before they pick up the application. Because once they do i can use cross-chargablity and use her country for Visa numbers.

no it went to texas initially andand because of the last year fiasco it was mailed to NBC and mailed back to texas. for which i got a notice already and again i see this in my profile with just a little word diffrence.

I got a hard LUD and it says this

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for processing because it has jurisdiction over the case.

I have had got a similar email before on April 14th, 2008.

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

Any ideas guys ?

I got a reponse to the Service Request very similar to you I guess it says.

Your file has been requested. Upon receipt, your case will be reviewed. You should receive a written notice from Texas Service Center within the next 90 days. If you do not receive this, please phone the number listed below. and then bla bla bla

Can you make any sense?

I just received 3rd biometrics notice which had both my EAD receipt number which was already approved a couple of months ago with my I485 which is still pending.

The strange thing is I got my 1st biometrics for EAD which i did and it had code 2 so they took photograph and the thump print.
Then I get 2nd biometrics after a month which has EAD and 485 together with code 2, so the officer at the support center said this one is for your EAD so he again took thump print and photogrpah

and then I get another notice for next week the same as the 2nd notice. I am so confused. any help will be appreciated.

response date, for a SR is by when they are suppose to give you a reply. Usually if you talk with a good officer they will tell you by when you should get your reply to the SR

Same thing my response date was december 1st 2009. So I called them and talked with an officer on the december 1st, and maybe thats why I saw the LUD today. Because my last LUD was like 6 montgs ago when I did an address change.

Make sure you call them today or tomorrow.

Hey cross charge, I had told you that I had made a SR for using cross charge on Oct 31, 2008, I had called yesterday to check what was happening with the SR and the lady told me that I was suppose to get a reply by December 1st so just wait and I will get a reply soon and then today morning I see an update on soft LUD for today December 2, 2008. Does it mean anything?
