sorry.. got the date.. you had already mentioned it.
I had also visited the VFS office on 13th for enquiring about the forms.
That day they had told me VAF2 form. but the form seemed like its not meant for dependant.
14th Aug: sent a mail to the VFS customer service + got a reply from them with attached forms VAF9 + appendix + PBS for main applicant and VAF10 for the dependants.
18th Aug: confirmed this with the VFS enquiry desk. They took half an hour to clarify this from the BHC and finally replied VAF10 for dependant.
But I think you dont need to worry. coz the people at the VFS office only suggested to use VAF2.
I hope everything goes fine with both of us. I am also a bit worried now. |

Hi Sid,
Did you file your EC in VFS , Ville Parle (East). I also filed it this monday. They had told me earlier that for dependants they accept VAF2 but later on they clarified and said its VAF10 only.
Can you pls confirm the exact date of filing your application date.
I had also clarified this with VFS customer service. So I have everything in mail.

one question..
Did you inform your HR about HSMP visa before they got integra mail for verification.
is it wise to tell my HR about the HSMP visa before hand?
Did you HR asked the details of the visa (that you are applying on your own.)
I have just filed for EC and going out of station next week. Not sure how my HR will handle the query.

Hi hsmpdude,
Congrats for getting the visa!!. I have received my hsmp approval letter planning for EC next week.
Could you let me know the following things.
- How many month bank statements did you provide for fund maintenance.
- Did you show bank statements for salary account as well. if yes then how many months
- How many month salary slips did you provide
- What documents did you attach with dependant form apart from Marriage certificate.
- What date did you mention in the your form when your wife will be joining you in UK. Did you write she will accompany you?
- Did you book a hotel for showing accomodation proof.
- Did you show the mail trails with consultants in UK as proof of job results.
Please let me know above. Your suggestions will help me a lot.

How many months bankstatments have you provided with your EC application. My bank maintains the account information for past 6 months. So can't provide for 15 months.

Hi Raja,
I had visited VFS office at the Mumbai centre. They told me that i need to fill VAF2 form coz I already have the HSMP approval letter. I m confused.
whereas when I called at UK visa query centre today, they told that need to use VAF10 form for dependant.
wrote them an email to get everything in written from them. waiting for reply.
VAF2 form seems to be employment form not sure why they gave me VAF2.
If anyone has already applied for their dependant. Please help! |
