Topic: No Biometrics for EAD?
I am a little concerned about my husband's EAD application we submitted at the start of Aug. It seems where I look on the internet most petitioners have a biometrics appointment. Our EAD has not been updated since the NOA 1 was issued on Aug 7. My husband arrived here on a K3 visa and we did not file for AOS since we could not afford it at that time, so we only filed the EAD (of course with the fee); but nothing has happened to it in the computer system and I am a little concerned about it. I've called the 800 number and they only tell me its pending any advice would be grateful. I think they have put ours aside since we only applied for the EAD and not the whole AOS package. It is so frustrating since we are past 60 days and heading into the last streach of time when they are to take care of this type of petition. |
