Topic: Hold on to your jobs tightly

I'm, and it's definitely not a good scene. As the original poster mentioned, this not the best of times to work in the financial services industry. The stuff that hit the fan over the weekend took a long time in the making and is going to take a while to settle down.

Topic: Date of Birth Certificate: What did you do?

Oops..Imlikeu.. sorry just saw in your other post that you had already submitted the affidavits. Sorry not sure how to go about it inspite of an affidavit.

Topic: Date of Birth Certificate: What did you do?

Ilikeu, not sure if you've received a concluding response for your query yet. I received an RFE for my BC a few months ago saying the one I had submitted was incomplete. I got an affidavit (I don't have the format with me now, you could look it up on various immigrations sites) completed and signed by my parents. If for some reason that is not possible get it signed and notarized by elders in your family, neighborhood who were around during the time of your birth.

Please consult with your laywers to see if such an affidavit would suffice for a BC non-availability certificate. Good luck.

Topic: Let's Track July 485 filer's LUD!

Hi guys,

This is my case history so far:
EB3 India - PD Sep 2002.
AOS @ Nebraska.
RD-06/15, ND - 07/10
Lud 485 – 08/14, 08/15 (both after FP), 12/10 (RFE), 12/12, 12/18, 01/4 (RFE response received), 01/6, 01/10, 01/14, 01/15.
Spouse had LUD on 485 after FP and then on 12/18, 01/10, 01/14, 01/15. I haven't called USCIS yet, nor do I feel it's going to serve any purpose. I'm assuming my case could have been shelved pending visa availability. However, best case scenario, someone worked on my file. Hopefully we'll all be out of this rut soon.

LUD on approved I-140 on 11/25, on H1B on 12/15.
