Topic: Landing a job in Canada

Hi FSW aspirants,

Do you guys typically get a job after your immigration is complete, or do you look for a job before/while applying?

Just trying to figure out the process of applying for Canada immigration - what comes first. I would love to have other people share their job hunting experience with the community. Maybe we need a tracker for job hunting as well? haha...

The Atlanta PERM processing is for employment-based green cards, not marriage-based. I think you are in the wrong forum.

Topic: Experience letter for I-140

Skillset is supposed to be part of the experience letter. But I don't know if a case would actually be denied because of this. Sorry, can't help more than that. Of course the lawyer who filed your case should know better. If they knew this would create problems, they should've contacted you.

In order to request RIR, an employer must demonstrate that during the preceding six months, they have made good faith efforts to recruit U.S. workers for the job.
