finally, after the soft LUD a day after the Infopass on 9/17/08, i got the CPO email from CRIS today.
I guess the Infopass really works. Good luck to those who are still waiting for their EADs. |

my husband had an infopass 9/17/08 and had a soft lud 9/18/08. To date, no change.... status still received and pending. His EAD is expiring on 9/29/08. It's frustrating!!!!! |

The ND for my husband's EAD renewal (Nebraska) was 6/10/08 and we took Infopass 9/17/08. The IO was helpful and he sent an email to Nebraska. Had a soft LUD 9/18/08. He said we should have news within 5 days, gave us the Confirmation number of our expedite request and he even gave us the number of Nebraska to call if we don't get anything in 5 days.
We had another Infopass (same day but different IO) for my son's EAD renewal. The IO just laughed at us and said too early to make a service request bec it's only over 90 days. The IO whom we spoke to regarding my husband's EAD told her that she need to email Nebraska but she contradicted him and she did nothing. No LUD for my son.

I am desperate to have my husband's EAD renewal. My lawyer said he could do an expedite processing but he's asking for $1,000 fee to do it. I will go to our Infopass appt tomorrow and see what happens. I am thinking of doing the request for expedite by myself to avoid paying the $1k. |

My lawyer applied renewal for the 4 of us (me, husband, daughter & son) through efiling early June. Our current EAD expries 9/29/08.
The RD for me, husband and son was 6/10/08 and had FP 7/3/08. I don't know how but my daughter's RD was 6/29/08 and she had FP 7/23/08. My EAD got approved 7/9/08 and my daughter's got approved 8/8/08. Until now, no news for my husband and son's application. We are so worried bec my husband could not afford to lose his job because of no permit to work. |

Me, my husband and son applied for e filing EAD renewal with RD of 6/10/08 and had FP on 7/308. I received approval for mine (the principal) 7/9/08 but until now, no approval ( not even a LUD) for my husband and son. I made an appointment in Infopass and scheduled on 9/17/08. |

You should check with your school to know the details. I live in CA and previously, the school assessed my daughter for an international student fees. I called the school and they only asked proof of residence in CA for 2 years. We submitted photocopies of my daughter and my DL, bank statement, passports and visas ( I was still in H1B at that time) and they changed the tuition fee from international student to a CA resident. |

Our ( mine, husband and son's) EAD on-line renewal application was filed 6/10/2008 and we were scheduled for FP 7/03/08 and we had a soft LUD the same day after the FP . On 7/9/08, I received a CRIS saying the card has been mailed. But it was for my card only, nothing after the FP for my husband and son. It was also filed in Nebraska. |
