I am aware of 5 cases of Tier1 application. They took from 28 to 35 days. But all of them are inland Tier1 applications.
So I don't think I can help you with Indian statistic. Sorry.

>> But I dont have Income Tax filie returns for Indian salary.
You can use alternative set of evidences: payslips and bank statements.
As HO emphasizes in its guidelines: 2 pieces of evidences coming from different sources.
Do that they expect you to do and everything will be all right

Buddy, a waste of money will be if you fill the form in a wrong way. Layer fee usually £500 and application fee is £750. :)
But any way lets count

You are 28 years old. - 20 points
I suppose you have a bachelor degree? - 30 points
1 year in UK (and earn more than £16.000) - 5 points

It means you need to score 20 points more to be qualified.
So you have to show £23,000 of income before tax.
You did not provide much details but I suppose you get income from several sources during this period.
if you earn £21600 during 12 moths in UK and spend all this time here you have to show £1400 coming from different sources.

If you are employed worker For UK part you have to provide payslips and bank statements.
and the most interesting part is what do you have to support your claim about additional income.
This is stickiest part and I would suggest to avoid using any non UK income unless it is unavoidable.

Hi,
Need help from someone who is well versed with HSMP procedure as I am a bit low on confidence on my concern.
I am 28 yrs old & have been working in UK on a WP since last 1+ years. My salary in hand in UK is £21600 & Indian Salary Gross is 6lac/annum. My qyery is:
(i) Do I qualify for HSMP? If yes, on which salary basis?UK or Indian or both?
(ii) If both, what all docs do i need to submit with the application & how to make the decalarations.

Can someone plz help me in filling the HSMP application form bcos as I said above, I am a bit low on confidence on this?

Thanks ..

HSMP is closed in UK. File Tier1 application: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingintheuk/pointsbasedsystem/
If you can not do it yourself (I can understand that. Application form is 53 pages. Real hassle) hire a layer.

For self assessment use http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/pointscalculator

Thanks Santa..& sorry for the mistake..I realize its Tier-! now & not HSMP..Thanks..:)
But as I said, I need to first get ensured that do I qualify for it & if yes, on which salary basis?

I think it perfectly legal to submit several applications. But you have to mention all your previous applications in Tier1 form.
But beware Tier1 consideration now could take more then 1 month.
