My ex-roommate filed his GC with both EB3 & EB2 I-140s instead of actual porting. He and his wife contacted an IO using POJ method and came to know that their case was in EB3 category. IO gave a fax number to send some docs and luckily their EB2 PD became current by that time and got approved in 2 weeks.

Get hold of an IO to correct this. Good luck.

Based on fellow members posting you can surely walk in and as far as I know no one was turned down.
