Hey guys!!
Wanted to share this, I got my EAD and that too valid for 2 years, no news for the GC yet :O
But I am glad I wont ve to leave my job now.
Maybe the fone call to the USCIS worked as I told them its an emergengy and I will loose my job and suffer financially :P
and thx to all of you for your help!!

So I finally called them up today and the lady on the other end said that I shld get my EAD card within 10 day s time,
Hopefully she understood that mine expires next mnth and the REF takes another 60 days for the processing :S
As for my I485, the new fiscal starts in October now, so thats for sure.
Hopefully I will get my EAD......hopefully it works.

So am I, but I will ve to quit work forcibly if my EAD doesnt come within a span of a mnths time.
I was supposed to travel to India next month, so am just waiting for things to trun bright :( |

Guys, here is my update :
I took an infopass and it was a complete waste of time and effort :-) but I did try!!
They said that all i need to do is wait as they cant do anything about it.
They asked me to write to the authority rather,
Personally I feel thats so bs, if they cant do anything to expediate my case, you guys think the USCIS cares?
I wonder how many mails they would be receiving in a day!
Anyway, am just hanging on the brik now, as there is no news for my ead, and I am left with a month times now.
Oh, good news is that my Hubby got his physical GC :))

I tried calling the service center, but they were closed by the time I called
and reading by the Infopass, it says I can take an appt only after 90 days since my EAD is filed,
am more worried abt EAD then the GC!!

My lawyer suggested we wait for a few ( as i just sent out the RFE for the EAD ) if nothing is heard will call them up.

Well my case ( along with my hubby got tranferred to the Texas service center ) & fortunately
he made it !

We spoke to the lawyer and he suggested that I shld send in the info ( RFE Is for my EAD, thats the reason that am more concerned cos my EAD expires in OCT! )
So does it still mean that I cant travel ? I am cluless abt my GC status, as it states that its been transffered... ! ..
