Topic: For all those who have CPO and waiting for the card!
Hi,
I got a cpo mail on Aug 19'th on the 91'st day. Then after 2 weeks contacted USICS. Got the ususal reply ..wait for 30 days. Calle them up atleast thrice. Got different answers..has been escalated, IT dept working on it. Nothing actually changed. Contcated the local senator and congressman. None cud help mich as card was already in production.
Wrote a mail to ombudsman...got a reply from them...kept updating them about my case....they replied everytime...And even got a call from them to chk whether i got the EAD...And yesterday I finally got my card. I wrote to ombudsman just the last week.
Write a mail to ombudsman and describe all that u have done ...as in contacting senator,cngrssman,caling the 1-800 line etc. Tell them y u need the card...n u shd get ur card.

Topic: Contineous LUD changes for 3 days
LUD's is a good thing!
If you have contacted ombudsman..be sure taht u'll get ur eAd within a week...THey had even called me up...I clearly mentioned in my mail that I have contacted USCIS N no of times but stil didnt get the EAD. I wrote all I had done....and yesterday I got my EAD!

Hi,
I took an infopass on the 91'st day...and got a CPO mail the next day. Even after CPO, make sure that u follow them up ...till u get ur card in hand. I waited almost 2 months after my CPO ..an still waiting for the card.

Hi,
almost 2 months after the CPO now my status changed to:
"Current Status: Approval notice sent.
On October 3, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION"
Do they send the card along with the approval notice? Or do we get a separate email for CARD MAILED and then get the card?
Please do reply. Waiting desperately for the card.

Yes i did receive email for the first CP. Then there were 2 more CPO's but no mail.
Not necessary that you should get a mail.
If u dont have an email, take a save a print of the online status as a proof.

This is not going to work. Bcuz there are only 10% of wives who actually work on L2/EAD.
Most of the IT people, both husband and wives have their H1. So by holding the EAD's of L2 holders, ho many people can they stop rom working? In turn how many american families will get jobs?
And Why dont they just limit the no of visas if they want to deal with unempolyed americans? |

Yes thats the right one....And they hopefully will send u a reply.
And send the DHS 7001, job offer letter, copy of receipt notice from USCIS.
Mention your email and phone no too.
