Topic: Who should pay the filing fee and attorney's fee for I-140 and I-485, employer or employee?

I paid for the entire process myself with personal checks. I never hired any attorney for 140/765/485. I took over the whole process after the Labor stage because my lawyer was getting too expensive plus she was very slow. Had I left everything in her hands I could not have mailed my application on June 9th, as labor was approved on May 25th. My pp 140 was approved in 3 days and 765 approved in 59 days and 485 in 91 days

Topic: How many notices after the approval

Do not worry about the number of notices. They are so random in order. My card production was ordered first on 9/11, then today 9/17, I was notified by email that the approval notice has been sent on 9/14. When I got home both the card and the approval noice were in my mail box in separate evelopes. My wife and child just recieved welcome notices with no other notification.
My prediction is that you will receive your card by tomorrow. Good luck

Topic: EAD Approval Notice Sent on Sep 8th / When we will get the EAD Card?

come on!! you don't need any help. Give it at least 10 days before you start panicking. You will soon get your card. Remember we all live in different zip codes. Good luck.

Topic: Why are some nationalities processed faster?

Of course, there may be individual cases where processing will be delayed for other reasons such as non clearance of security/Name check/background check. This can happen to any nationality. There are other applicants from ROW EB-1 who are also stuck in NC over a year even though their category has always been current. These are exceptional cases.

Topic: 485 approval when PD is not current.

AS much as the substantial increase in fees is absurd, it wouldn't be a bad idea if the objective is to clear the backlog. I am sure most applicants would not mind that. Unfortnately, there is no guarantee that this will be done. Infact when funds were appropriated to USCIS to clear the backlog, nothing seems to have been done. I am almost positive that many applicants will not mind paying a little more to guarantee that they get out of this immigration stress as soon as possible. I feel that if USCIS comes out with assurances that they will use the additional revenue to hire more workers and also undertake to streamline the system to make it fairer, the lawsuit should be dropped. The status quo is not working.

MY PD is march 2005 and EB3. I got a soft LUD on 9/5. My wife also got LUD's on 9/5 and 9/6. Is there any chance we could be approved even when our PD's are not current? I believe in miracles
