Topic: Please advise:RFE for TB Skin Test

Finally we recevied the RFE notice for My spouse. Her TB results were not documented appropriately

---------------------------------------------------------------
From I-693 indicates your reaction to the TB skin test, however there is no indication of the severity of the reaction.

You should return to the civil surgeon who first examined you (or the anther civil surgeon authorized by USCIS) for clarification. The civil surgeon should also refer you to your local health department for further evaluation to determine whether you have clinically active TB and, if so, whether it is infectious. The Form I-693 must be properly endorsed by civil surgeon to reflect all of the following.

The Date you were referred to local health department.
The Name, Address and phone number of the local health department.
The result of the Chest X-Ray
The basis upon which you have been medically cleared for AOS.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I spoke to civil surgeon ofifce and they said, they will open the sealed envelope and will do what ever required, but there is no need to refer to local healt department.

Last time my spouse had the reaction and and the chest X-ray as well. Based on this civil surgeon fill up the form, but did not refer to any local health department.

Should I request civil surgeon to refere her to local health offcie as per notice or this is civil surgeon's decision. Please advise ...

thanks for your time.
