Topic: Buying a house at pending 485 not a good idea?

I bought a house within one year of entry into USA. At that time my labour itself was not cleared; which was cleared 3 years after. My I-485 is still pending. I enjoyed every bit of the house. It is almost 6 years now. Think of the rent etc.. i have saved, enjoyed the garden etc..
go for it.

After reading this, I also decided to go ahead with WOM. I got three congressional letters, many SRs, three INFOPASS, 2 ombudsman, Two AILA enquiries. My I-485 is now more than two years old - actually 31 months! PD current for long time. Hopw some luck for me.
Your mail really gives me lots of hope.

Topic: Any EB2 India 2002 pd approval from Texas?

Earlier it was name check. Then got cleared in Oct.2007. Then Ombudsman replied indicting my case is EB3 - but got confirmtioan through AILA that it was always EB2 and TSC sent a standard EB3 reply to Ombudsman. No one knows the real reason. I guess a group of EB2 files got stuck in TSC and no one really looked into that.

You your RD is Feb 9, 2007? You should been approved long back , may be take infopass....it may help.

Common. my rd is may 2006! still waiting. Taken three infopasses, three congressional letters. two ombudsman, two AILA queries etc. etc. Only action left is going stright to TSC, physically take my file and chop 'APPROVED'.
