Topic: What does a Green Card mean to you?

My husband lives in Florida we have our first child due in 2 weeks and he has a secure job in the US. I hate living apart from him, to me the actual GC means nothing but living with him in US means everything. We can;t stand to be apart and it's heartbreaking cause his family won't get to see our first Child cause I'm stuck over here in the UK

Topic: Does anyone know why some cases are being processed quicker

Does anyone know why some cases are being processed quicker, if your case has been approved can you tell me where the relative you are petioning for lives etc, e.g uk, india etc, just so we might have an idea if there is a trend in approval times, it might be helpful.

My case was submitted Nov 7th 2006 at the california service centre my my husband who lives in florida, I am a UK citizen. My case is still pending.
