I had submitted to VFS Delhi on 8th April and the stap date is 8th May. Collected the docs yesterday.
Following is the list of docs that i submitted.
1) All documents send while getting the work permit.
2) 3 months Bank statement
3) Bank letter stating minimum in last 3 months
4) Last 6 months salary slip.
I had submitted other docs that i had collected as additional as I was having them.
They are-
1) Letter for accomodation from friend in UK
2) His bankstatements, bills
3) Offer letter
4) Current company promotion, salary letters.
But I am sure they did not see these.
I had filled the new form VAF9A and VAF9B for myself
and VAF 10 for depandents. |

Finally I got the Visa for 3 yrs under PBS tier1.
Thanks a lot to all in the forum for providing many needed details.
Looking for some opening in J2ee. Would be landing soon in UK. |

The clause that you are writting -"If you already have an HSMP approval letter, you can also use it in your home country, to apply for permission to come to the United Kingdom (known as entry clearance) under either the HSMP or Tier 1 (General), depending on when we close the HSMP in your country"
--according to me means, if you apply for EC on or before 31st May (the day HSMP was closed in India), you come under old rule is HSMP, After 1st April it will be Tier1 from india.

Your queries ans-
1) Forms filled - VFS 9A, VFS 9B, Dependent- VFS 10
2) Fee 200 GBP (convert to INR) for myself and each dependents
3)yes, I had linked FD in my account fortunately which helped me meet the mini. req.
Hope they are ok, it that.
Get a statement from Bank stating the min. fund in the bank. The bank personal will not understnd and ask many questions but you have to insist to get that.
Besides that i supplied all the other docs which were needed in earlier HSMP EC. as VFS was not sure which is going to use.
Mentione them in the cover letter.
I think that should work.
Anyone with similar exp. place tell me. I am also very scared as VFS is clueless about the new change. I hope they do not misunderstand anything. |

yes i showed the same in my bank account including FD in the account. Got a letter from bank, stating min. fund in the account for each month including FD.
I think that was what was required. |

You are correct ujjwal.
VFS personals are not at all up to date.
They are still insisting on us filling old form. Althought i told them its mentioned on their website.
But I applied on 8th April with new form and also maintenace fund req.
lets see what will happen. fingures crossed. |
