There is no age restriction to apply EAD, we can apply EAD for kids also.
If you are getting high salary(i think >75K) you won't get stimulus package.
Some of my friends did not get stimulus package eventhough all members have SSN.

Topic: case never been update
Same with my dependent case, we applied her AOS in Aug 2007, still case status is showing received and pending.
She attend finger prints in Dec 07 and also
she applied EAD in last month 28th and today status is changed that card(EAD) production ordered.
But no status change or LUD on her 485.
GOD knows what is going on.

Hello all,
This thread has good info, thanks to all for your knowledge sharing.
I have question about EAD filing for dependent, i have enter US on AP recently working to same employer.
We have valid H1 and H4 but according to employer and attorney as i have used AP I should use EAD never filled I-9 form with EAD details. Now I am not sure I am working on H1 or EAD.
Now I am applying EAD for my dependent who never applied AP and EAD( two years ago entered US on H4) and has valid H4, what should I fill for Column 14- Manner of US entry and Column 15-Current immigration status on I765 form.
Recently I have applied EAD for my self and filled both columns as parolee.
Please advise.

I am working on EAD and will expire on Feb 2nd, 2009
I am preparing docs for renewal.
I saw in many forums that EAD should apply before 120 days what does this means.
Can I apply for renewal now or I should wait for Oct 2nd(on that day its, exactly 120 days to expire my EAD.)

Topic: Need to travel on AP, GC sponsor company is no more, acquired by another company.
Hello all,
I have to travel in next week on AP, I am working to GC sponsor employer only, but two months ago it’s acquired by another company, they changed name of the company and ran payroll on new name. Basically no more my GC sponsor company.
New management has informed us no need to file AC21 and amendments to 140 and 485.
Two months ago (that time no change in company name) I have travelled on AP since then according to attorney my H1 is invalid it’s presumed that I am working on EAD.
Please advice me this acquisition and AP usage causes any issues to my GC process?
Now what documents I should have from new management for this travel?

Now what is status of zarado's friend?
He has to stop to work until his case is reopened?
After his case is reopened he has to apply for new EAD or can continue to work on existing EAD?
Can he apply H1 through premium process now?
Most of the people are working on EAD and not invoking AC21.
According to my attorney we do not require to file AC21 as it won't reach my file in USCIS. AC21 is just memo.

Thanks for your reply. The hourly rate is far greater than the salary mentioned in labor. I am not sure what is prevailing wage.
Employer sponsored GC, that means, I am permanent employee to them.
Paystub showing they are paying hourly, that means I am working as contractor to them right?
