Topic: Should I expect an email? Should my lawyer?

Thanks for the reassurances!!!

Haha now I'm comfortable enough to actually update my trackitt information.

I only got an email for my I-140 and nothing in the mail. Seems the whole process is rather out of sync.

Topic: Should I expect an email? Should my lawyer?

Yesterday my case update at the USCIS website read:
Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

Today, it appears my card has been ordered.
Current Status: Card production ordered.

Neither my lawyer nor I have received any emails. Is this normal? Knowing just how many "server errors" and computer update problems" the USCIS has.... Should I be concerned or is it time to break out the champagne?

Topic: PROCESSING TIMES UPDATED JULY 16 2007

Oh great! I-485 processing moved BACKWARD by a month?!!!!
Guess we shouldn't be surprised when they can't even get passports out to US citizens on time.

Topic: Important - Did anyone called up USCIS to get know about advances in processing time

I just called and you know what they said?!!!
They said their computer systems have been so erratic lately. The very nice and polite lady said she wouldn't trust any of the dates posted right now and told me to call back in 24-48 hours when she thinks the dates will be "back to normal".

????? Is this ridiculous?

Topic: What the heck is going on with I-140s in Nebraska?

I have a receipt date of January 19, 2007 for concurrent filing and based on what I'm seeing posted, there is some kind of big backlog in Nebraska. Very seriously thinking of switching to Premium Processing for the I-140. Yes I need the I-485 approved to but that clearly follows very shortly after I-140 approval.

There is an average 100-day difference between Premium and Regular processing for I-485 approvals!!!
Obviously the $1000 doesn't just affect I-140 times.
