Thank you, zapastor.
I am sure the wait for you is nearing to its end... Patience is a virtue...however, you must be a master!
I wish you good luck and happy ending.

I am going to the Miami Infopass office. I don't see a reason why they shouldn't stamp my passport as my case has been approved. As far as I know they just need to double check with the DC office.
I will let you know then...

CONGRATS EB3texas!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received my magic email yesterday morning at 7:15am - Card production ordered, and this morning again at 7:15am - Welcome Letter sent....
It has been 7 long years since I've seen my family. I am booking tickets as soon as my passport is stamped - I have infopass tomorrow at 1pm!
Guys, this is the best feeling ever. I've been a prisoner by choice for such a long time. Its great to be finally free... :-)
Good luck to all of you!!!

Topic: For those stuck in NC over 180 days...

Yes, it is not a big deal if you don't mind to wait longer... Imagine that your case just got on the adjudicator's desk. Scenario A): IO sees everything is in order except the NC and sends you an approval letter based on the 180 day NC memo.
Scenario B): IO looks thru your case thoroughly and finds out FP are expired. 1 week delay - IO sends letter requesting new biometrics, scheduled for the next month. 5 weeks later - or even with more delays with all these NC files awaiting adjustment, will send you either an approval as per Scenario A or - if there is a retrogression... will put you aside to wait for your PD to be current...
That's only my 2 cents to this thread - do not procrastinate - it never pays off...
I would either take another Infopass or called the center requesting renewal of my FP immediately.

"He further said that since my FP have expired, they might require renewal b4 adjudication."

Why didnt you ask them to renew your FP right then and there? I asked and they did it right away. I had an appointment for my EAD prints as well for the next week, they did it on the spot. They have the biometrics machine at Miami Infopass center. It never hurts to ask.... :-)

Topic: For those stuck in NC over 180 days...

Hello, IO didn't mention anything about this letter being mailed to family or employment based applicants. It looked like a general letter that will be sent out to all that are waiting over 180 days just because of the FBI name check.
My case is in Miami service center/local office now. Everyone make sure your addresses are updated - not only the address that you need to update within 10 days of moving but call in and make sure to give them the receipt number and check the address that was initially filed - if it is different (like mine was), make sure they update it. The will send this letter to the address the have for the receipt... I hope i am clear enough... they will accept only the original...no copies to stamp your passport!
I checked my mail today...nothing yet...but keeping it positive!!!

For me it seemed to be a general letter it did not mention family or employment based.

Yes I did. I was there personally today. I didn't have the original document with my name on it that they require in order to stamp my passport. Soooooo... I'm waiting patiently and will be checking my mailbox numerous times a day :-)
