Topic: Mine was denied yesterdy

I can definitely understand that. I got the intent to deny letter on Saturday and spent the rest of the weekend speculating, which I know is useless but do nonetheless.

Topic: Intent to deny

Thanks Greenyway. That does make me feel better...

Quick question: do all RFEs begin with "Intent to Deny" (probably not, but thought I should ask)?

Topic: Intent to deny

I'd really appreciate any advice from anyone with experience or knowledge in this...

My case: EB1A filed at TSC in December 2007. Petitioner is my employer and beneficiary is myself. Soft LUDs on I140 on 6/30/2008 and 7/1/2008. Today (7/5/2008) I received a letter from USCIS titled "intent to deny". In the letter, it says petitioner is myself and asked for additional evidence. But the letter simply listed requirements for EB1A and said that I had to satisfy 3 of them. Didn't say anything about the documents/evidence I already submitted. It looked as if they didn't even look at my application.

Maybe they have and I just don't make the cut. Does anyone have experience in this? Obviously I'll talk to my company's lawyer on Monday but just to make tonight and tomorrow easier, I'd like to hear what other people have to say about this. Any opinion is appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Topic: Soft LUD on 140

The soft LUDs stopped for me today. There seems to be a soft "soft LUD" trend: they come in pairs. Now, what they lead to seems to vary but generally, USCIS slaps a couple of soft LUDs and then disappear for a while (two weeks at least, it seems).

Thanks everyone for your input. Please keep me updated if you can. Good luck to all of us.

hmm... that's uncalled for, crus.

not sure what this is. ill-attemped humor at best? if so, then whatever. if it's just a random piece of racial slur, say it on an anti-immigration forum, don't hijack my thread.

I suppose... but I'm in so deep that I need a 12-step program, a sponsor and a shoulder to cry on... the whole works.

I'm glad I found this site though. Knowing that other people suffer as you do is strangely cathartic (perversely, yes, but cathartic nontheless).

Guys, thanks for sharing your experience.

What pakasia and deep41305 said is exactly what I thought was happening... Crusader, I agree with what you said but part of me just wants to hold on to the last strand of hope... is it just me or is this whole thing just like dating in junior high?

What an emotional roller-coaster... someone ought to start a Green-card-Anonymous support group.

Topic: Soft LUD on 140

Filed at TSC last November. RD is 12/8/2007. Nothing until yesterday -- first soft LUD was 6/30/2008 (no emails, no status update). Early this morning (8am this morning, eastern time), I saw another soft LUD 7/1/2008.

What does this typcially mean? If my case is transferred, shoudn't there be a hard LUD followed by a bunch of soft LUDs? And why 8am this morning (6am Texas time)? If it's a real LUD with a real person doing it, then I'm happy that USCIS is working hard.

Anyway, I probably sound like an anxious schoolgirl going on her first date -- this is what the US immigration system does to you. Any response from anyone with experience in this is much appreciated.
