Topic: After OPT WHATS NEXT

I have associate in business administartion and worked for a dentist office. I don't know if that will help you ,but if you have bachelor degree you can definetly get someone to sponsor you I beleive while you are on OPT not after eventhough you have 60 days grace period. If you have bachelor go for H1 but don't go to school and work (which is illegal) because later on when you apply for Green Card they will catch you. I don't know any organizations taht specifically are interested to sponsor international students, but if you work now I think you need to start from there.

Topic: After OPT WHATS NEXT

I was in the same situation when my OPT expired on this July 7. I had good emloyer who was willing to do anything to keep me to work for him, but unfortunatelly my student advisor said that once you start new school program your OPT automatically ends which means you can't work. So, going back to school is the only way to stay here. If the employer wants to cover the expenses so after your graduation you can go and work for him (indirectly to pay off him) that may work if he is willing to do it. Another option can be if after you aplly for school and I belive taht you need to be registered for at leat one semester or two you can ask the school to give you work authorization to work outside the campus if you show that your sponsor can't suport you anymore. I think teh best thing is to go back to school and ask the international advisor if they can allow you later on to work. Good luck.

Topic: New member in the family

I just got my medical forms May 17,2007. I am in early pregnancy and the doctor told me that theycan do the medical but not the X-ray. Since they expire after a year I am not sure if me and my husband want to do it now or wait untill the abby is born and do the medical at once rather than partial. Also, they gave us 3 months to do the medicals. Do they do exception for cases like this when pregnancy is envolved and give more time or do we need to still do the partial medical now? Please someone answer this. I really appreciate.Thanks.

I heard that the 3 first months if you land in Ontario,Toronto don't have insurance so it's best to have the baby in
US before going to Canada. We were just transferd to NY in April 10 waiting for IA latter. Can you tell me how long will take to get a responf from NY office. Thanks.
