Topic: Woohoo! July 07 filer, EB3, Nebraska, approved today! 543 long days!

Thank you all for your wishes! It is a great relief...

Hi srp10,

First congratulations for your I-140 approval. Wish you all the best for I-485 and your GC.

I have a question. Since your labor is PERM, ...

My labor was not a PERM application. I filed in July 04, PERM started sometime in beginning of 05, didn't it?

It was a traditional non-RIR EB3 (the worst kind there is, thanks, dear employer :-) ). We later changed it to an RIR application when USCIS had that backlog reduction efforts sometime in 06-07.

But I did have almost 5 years of experience before I started with this company. (almost, as in short by a few months to 5 years, which is why they filed in EB3 and not EB2).

Sorry, can't help you much with your question, but I do wish you all the best...

Topic: after a year I-140 still pending

I see most people get approval in 2-3 months.

Huh? 2-3 months? It must be in some other parallel universe. 1.5 years seems to be more like it. Like attograf said, poke around the site, the t140 tracker, forums and you will see...
