Hello everybody just to let you all know Today I got the scanned copy of the PPR request from my lawyer dated Decemebr 8th 2008 they gave me 60 days time to submit the passport. I am just waiting for the original PPR to send them the passports. I am sure others who are waiting will get it soon ALL the best.

Topic: Processing start date Versus AOR date

Hi,

I received an email from my lawyer confirming what all you all guys have told that my case will not be effected by the new rule and i should hear something in next 2 months i.e by january 15th 2009 hopefully.

By the way my file was transferred to New york office on September 16th 2008. It was initially in Buffalo Office.

Regarding my medicals we did our medicals on October 14th 2008 and the medicals were sent to Ottawa by the doctor on October 20th 2008 and the same reached Ottawa on October 24th 2008 ( I confirmed this dates by calling the doctors office as they have the tracking numbers with them).

Finally as many of the people mentioned here that the CIC updates very slowly so it muight come up anytime but you can always mail the visa office and enquire hope this helps..

Topic: Processing start date Versus AOR date

Hi,

According to new rules all the applications whose processing date is after Feb27 2008 and the NOC code is not present in the 38 NOC codes mentioned will it be rejected. I applied with NOC code 2174

So i need to know if my application which reached the CIC office on 21st January 2008 and we got our AOR on March 18th 2008, the status on cic website shows Medicals received. Basically our complete process is done just waiting on final decision and PPR so will our case go through or will be rejected any suggestons would be helpful.

I a, not sure if ther processing date is same as submission date or AOR date
