As u suggested i sent the the DHS 7001 form to Ombusdman .In between i took another infopass as it is more than 90 days now. but they said my case is not yet loaded into the system and so they are not ale to open my case. They suggested to write a letter to USCIS asking the status . The status in website says notice returned as undelivered.
Anyways, i ve sent the letter to both USCIS and Ombusdman . Let 's see what happens. |

as i ve efiled my application, i got the receipt notice by mail immediately. But after that no communication from them. I ve not received the hard copy of receipt notice that they send after 10 days.but i could see the case status changed to 'notice returned as undelivered' on Apr 2nd whereas i have not changed my address from last 2 years and the address on my application was also correct. I took info pass appointment sometime back, but they said , i ve to go there after 90 days then they can send a mail to expedite the case. But i m not sure whether 90 days from the day of receipt of application or 90 days from the status change. |

When we shd take the infopass appointment? is it 90 business days or 90 calendar days from the receipt date. I had applied on Feb 19th..On Apr 2nd, the case status changed to notice returned as undelivered. I ve not received receipt notice yet...no fingerprint notice either.Its frustating to wait such long time and not getting any update.. |

I have already sent a letter 3 weeks ago to expedite the processing along with a letter from my employer. But they said the case looks serious but not in emergency. The also said that they recently sent me a letter for biometric , so expedite case will be suspended till that.
But I ve not received any letter from them. Not even the I797 receipt notice of action. Custome service people say that as i ve efiled i would not get any i 797 in mail.
When i did efiling, i got the receipt immediately . and I sent the documents immediately in mail. Its already been 43 days, i ve not received any document from them. Its frustating.
In your case you have already sent them the required documents, i hope u may get something real soon. I believe they dont change case status on time. Being out of job for this is a real pain. I can understand your situation as i m counting my days. |

I am in L2 and did efile on 02/19/08, received the receipt immediately after filing. BUt nothing after that till now. The case status shows case received and pending. My current card expires this month. I ve to take an unpaid leave after that. I am frustated as i ve not received the FP notice yet. Everytime I call customer service, i am given some waiting period of 30 -45 more days. Can you provide the dates of ur processing. Atleast I can hope that they will close the case in 90 days.Thanks |
