Don't worry man, just stay calm and see if you get the gc in the mail. I am not sure why you want to spoil your luck. You can figure out your wife's status after you get the gc in the mail, if you ever get it. Just chill and stay tight.

My PD is Mar -3 2005. Eb2-I . We got a soft LUD for my wife's RFE - 06/09/2009. We sent the RFE response and no soft LUD's after that. We applied for Advance Parole's and we got the approval's, but no soft LUD's on the case though.. My wife's status online is Request for RFE received, not sure if they acted onit or not.

Is anybody in the same boat?

So my brothers.. who are worried about the prople making ahead by LC substituion... what about the people who already got GC by LC substituion.. Can you get their GC revoked and push them 2 years also...

Can you ask DOL to go back and look all the GC and identify fraud and LC subst... and revoke their GC's..?

I don't know who came up this hallucination of 2 years.. why not 10 years? why not only 2 months.. what 's the logic behind 2 years..?

This is not a constructive idea..

I don't know why people want to raise fire and sidetrack the issue. If you really want to get the problem solved, then raise your voice for visa recapture bill. Labor substituion is meant for people who have the same kind of experience. All you are doing is wasting your time and others for raising this fire.

I am not possitive that the visa dates will move forward. May be there are not many spill over visa's so they haven't moved the dates just like they did like last year. they just move the dates so that they have more applications eligible than the visa numbers so that they don't waste not even one visa number.

Although i would be happy if the dates move forward after september since my pd is march 2005.

Also remember there is a clean way to do anything. As long as you can play clean there is always a way to get things done. Non Compete is not an exception, you can still break it, It all depends on how big is your client and how small is your employer, Always a big fish can eat a small fish.
Just take time, think thoroughlly, work closely with the client and dig your way out. I don't agree with anybody who says that there is no way to do this.

No consulting company wants to mess up the relations with the client. It's all about business and in business there are no hard feelings. Just pass all the risk to the client and if they are big enough, they will have all covered it for you

Just my 2 cents. If you want to join the client, then discolse to the client what non-compete agreement you have, if the client wants you, they will eat the risk, they have their own attorney's and they will cover their ass and your's before they hire you.

keep it secret what your next moves are if possible. just avoid the trouble if you can.

In majority of the cases the current employer will not take the pain of going after you and there are certain permutations that the non-compete will not apply.

Most important it doesn't hurt to disclose it to the client.

If your employer asks you to sign some ridiculous contract before you join, there is always a negotiation time and able to express your view boldly and express your reservations of signing the contract. Remember emplyee and employer are equal partners to be successful.

It doesn't harm to call and express your support to the bills HR 2709, until the voices are not heard, the bill will not gain any importance. It's the responsibility of all the folks who are waiting in line for gc to express their voice. Nothing will change until all the folks make an effort to make things happen.

I just called the her office and expressed my support to re introduce the bill HR 5882 again. Her secretary also asked to also call the local house representative offices so that they can vote for it when it is re-introduced. But will she re-introduce it..? Not until her office gets a ton of phone calls.

So who is the next one to call?

I just called the number and passed on my comment to whitehouse. Just say I urge President Obama to keep up his promise on Comprehensive Immigration Bill this year. May take 5 - 10 minutes to depending on how busy the lines are. So guys keep calling..

After 678 days i got an soft lud today. No Change in the status of the case. Doesn't know what that could be. will wait and see

We should also call the senators/house representatives to show the support for this bill. The place where all the folks are voting (opencongress.org) looks like a third party website. I am really not sure if the senators and house representaives really look at this site and value the votes and comments from this site.You can find your local area senators at http://thomas.loc.gov/

Even 1085 bill would recapture the visa's

Here is the summary of the bill though...

Summary:
This legislation would reform the family-based immigration system and speed up the process for family members of legal immigrants to secure visas. Specifically, it would reclassify spouses and children of legal immigrants as immediate relatives, raise the per-country family-sponsored immigration limits from 7 percent to 10 percent of total admissions, recapture visas that went unused in previous years due to bureaucratic errors, allow widows and spouses to remain eligible for visas after the death of a sponsoring family member, and more.

Rush Holt and Robert Menendez wants to reintroduce this bill again. Please motivate them and support them by voting and calling them. His phone number it is 202 225 5801 (T) 202 225 6025(F). I got a letter from him that he will try to intrdouce the bill again.

Voted Yes count 899. Keep the momentum. Please inform your friends and encourage everybody out there. There are so many people out there who don't know about this bill.

We can spend time analyzing the numbers or call senators/House representatives to back the bill to recapture those green cards. There are still lot of people out there who doesn't know about this bill. Please broadcast information about this bill to everybody and encourage folks to make calls. Until we don't show sufficient enthusiasm and support towards the bill, nothing will change. We would be in the same state of inertia and expressing our dissatification towards the system.
