Oct 01 - Card Production Ordered for me and wife
Oct 02 - Notice mailed welcoming the permanent residents...
Oct 06 - LUD stating that Approval Notice has been sent...
Oct 07 - Soft LUD
Oct 09 - Received Welcome Notices and GC for both me and wife in the mail (USPS).....

thanks guys.....i will frequent this website often and hope i am able to answer some of the questions.....

phd...now in postdoc....12 publications in high impact journals...one national grant award and three national honor awards.....got 12 letters....in addition had letters from journal editirs, peer review managers and grant review researchers.....GL

both me and my wife had a hard LUD today (oct 1).....got the "Card Production Ordered" update on USCIS website......I have updated my profile completely.....guess they released the new numbers today......very excited....goodluck to everyone who is waiting for their GCs.....thanks...

HUD RFE received by USCIS: September 24, 2008
Soft LUDs on 485: 09/25, 09/26, 09/27, 09/29.....nothing today....
NO Luds on spouse 485 except on 09/12 after the I140 EB1A approval.....

Hoping that availabe visa numbers have an effect on all of our approvals....GL guys....
