Hi
In my humble opinion get the h1b stamp also while u are there.This way you do not have to pay for AP every year.However, it is relevant only if you have never used EAD.
I just got mine stamped from india and had no problem entering US. |

I applied for advanced parole in April for my husband and my daughter as well.My daughter got it in July.
My husband and I still have not recd.it.My husband had to go overseas last year and used his AP. He came back to US before the expiry of his earlier AP.
He had his EAD but never used it.Now his father is seriously ill and we have tried everything from expediting to talking to the congressmen but even till now nothing has happened .we have sent out photographs twice.Mine was acknowledged in July and my husband's last week.but no AP yet. We already have an extension of H1/H4 till 2010.I went to India and got my H1b stamped and came back.
Can my husband go back to India and get his h4 stamp and use it to come back to US or he needs AP to come back?
I would really appreciate some advise on this.

I may be wrong but check with your lawyer before you step out of USA.In my opinion, the moment you use your EAD your H4 is deemed to be over.H4 stamp is no longer valid.They would have it in the system.Be very cautious. |
Topic: AP filed at incorrect service center
Hi Guys
I just realized that I filed my AP electronically at TEXAS center instead of Nebraska since I am in California and my 485 is pending.So what do I do now?Please help.
I had an AP filed by my lawyer earlier (TEXAS) that is OK till late July and I intend to go out of US during the summers.
Who do I contact or what do I do? |

I just had a talk with my lawyer and he maintains that I should not expect I485 any time soon as there are no visa numbers available.According to him things would be clearer in the month of October.But hen how come people who applied in the month of June along with me are getting the approval.I do not understand. |

I don't think that it is an RFE because RFEs are pretty clear cut and explain their objective.This one is pretty generic. |

I got the same thing yesterday and I do not have a clue to what it is.The people who got RFE may can explain.When you got an RFE did it have the same language as document mailed to the applicant. |
