Topic: AUGUST & SEPETMBER - EC - APPLYING

Hi all,

Applied for EC: Aug 22nd ( Tier 1 -General)
Recieved passport on: 15th Oct
Status: Visa Approved

Now the thing is... i need to apply Visa for my dependent (Wife). Is it better to apply for visa now itself i.e. from india? or should i wait till i go to uk get a job there and then apply? are any one of you in the same situaton ...Let me know your views.

Thanks a lot to each and everyone for sharing information. I got my EC today. Here are the time lines

EC Applied: 22nd August
Integra: 1st September. Called my office extension.I couldn't answer as I was in a meeting.
EC status updated on Website: 14th October
Passport Recieved: 15th October

Applied for EC on august 22nd and today at 5 PM my status was updated as Processed application delivered to Blue Dart on 14 Oct 2008. so .....fingers crossed.
