Topic: I 485 and tax returns

my attorney "problem" is quite convoluted. too much so to discuss here. I wanted to get a broader opinion on the tax thingy from the forum, which i am grateful for. I my go ahead and tell him to not submit taxes, unless he can prove to me (with section and verse of the law) how this is required. Altho it's not a sure bet, I think I can still direct him what to do.

FYI
I work for a small firm, and A2P is really not my problem. attorney was saying we are submitting taxes to show good moral character...which made little sense to me, to be honest.

Topic: I 485 and tax returns

I entered on H1B, and my taxes are in order (as in payed) for all the years that i have been working here, It's just that my attorney, which I am still forced to use thru my employer is requesting them and I don't trust anything he says anymore. He is a bullshitter, and I want to know what I should absolutely give him and what I should not. As some have posted here, I am also of the opinion that what is not specifically asked of USCIS should not be submitted. If they want to know about my taxes they can check with IRS for official numbers anyway. Am I correct? Attorney is asking for my personal copies. why would USCIS want to take my work for it...they could all be fakes...

Topic: I 485 and tax returns

anyone here knows what the law is regarding submission of tax returns as part supporting documents for the I-485 with approved I 140? I've seen various answers on the internet: 2 years, 3 years. what happens if you don't submit tax returns.

I am about to file I 485, and would like clarity on this.

up till this point a bad attorney has been handling things, and I want to be done with him. do previously filed G28s (in his name) have anything to do with this new application?

Topic: how accurate are trackitt stats?

yes, I was hoping to get a feel of how good a sample size trackitt represents. thank you for clarifying. as with everything in life, i take this information as is, and draw my own conclusions.
