Topic: Update on H1B Status after 485 Approval - Please Respond Urgent

I had an RFE on my H1B extension after I got my GC. The RFE is asking for proof that I was in the country when H1B extension was filed. I was actually out of the country. Lawyer says that since GC is approved, I don't have to worry about it as I don't need H1 anymore.

Topic: Call recevied from USCIS

After I filed two SR for advanced parole for my wife as she needed to travel for family emergency, nothing happened. Finally when I called again a very kind IO took my call and I explained her my situation. She sympathised with me and said she is going to talk to the supervisor and call me back the next day. I got a call the next moring at 8:00 AM and the IO said that the AP document is approved and will be mailed to me by the production department ASAP. So I guess they do call in some cases.
