Dear friends,

i am silent member of the forum. today i received my passport from vfs, with visa aproved for 3 years.

i got visa valid date as requested in the application(1-FEB-09)

thanks to all members of the forum.

EC applied on :1st October
Applied From : Chennai VFS
Integra Verification : HR received mail, but HR has not replied even till date. i thought it would be a problem. luckily not.
BHC Direct Verification : No Idea
Called for Interview : No
Interview Date : N/A
EC Status : updated in vfs site on 11 Nov
Passport Delivered on : collected from vfs today

bank related: submitted only bank statements. not submitted letter from bank.

Dear All,

yesterday i went to ICICI bank, where i hold a savings account, the bank manager said that they cannot give the letter stating there was sufficient funds for 3 months in my account. so i could get only bank statment. will this be a problem?

kindly reply fast, as i need to submit tomorrow to vfs.

Dear All,

i saw in some of the posts, that we also need to show the proof for the source of funds shown in our account. i would like to know if any one has submitted the proofs for the same.

in my case last 6 months statement shows full 2.5 lacs. the transactions for this amount has been before 6 months.

can anyone advice me if i need to submit proofs for these funds. i am planning to submit 6 months statement for EC.
