quite easy..
go to trackitt, sort by approval date. See the last date most of whose records are green. Get the first 4 digits of the reference numbers...

HO decides on our appln

u have certainly done a great job..
every one on this site is reallyt tired and even frustrated with the waiting period...
ur analysis atleast gives us some sort of assurance (even if may not be 100% accu)...
but i have one query... in the table which u have estimated the day we will get our results...
does dat give the day the HO decides on our appln or the day we recieve our papers in our home country???

However I just have a small input - Is it possible for you to keep updated analysis on 'Date vs Expected Result Date' in your site...as I guess you would have projected this analysis on a specific time frame (when you have actually started working on this analysis piece) and it is likely to change now.So can you keep update on analysis on 'Date vs Expected Result Date' periodically @ ur convenience :-)

Pretty awesome! Thanks for that, your calculation is as good as I've seen. I need to estimate when I'm going to get my approval as I need to change my flight. *sigh*
Got a question for you - you've estimated 2 days per application for applications received after 28 Feb. Was that the standard processing time prior to the 28 Feb spike? It'll be interesting to see how long the HO usually takes to resolve applications - a quick glance over the waiting times in say late 2007 reveal vastly more efficient waiting times.
2 day is not a scientific estimation actually. I will try to do sth if I have time.

very good analysis.
one doubt though.
Before Feb 29th, all applicants residing in UK applied through HSMP. But this has changed from March 1st.
Has this reduction in applications from UK taken into consideration?
Not actually, but I think this will not effect much since the same consultants will be processing to both HSMP and Tier 1 applications..
