Topic: COST OF MEDICAL EXAMS WITH NO OHIP CIVERAGE

The medical is for immigration purpose so it won't be cover by any insurance. I had my medical in the US, for 2 adults and 3 children, it cost me $1,650.

Topic: HOW MUCH LONGER AFTER MEDICALS FOR CANADA?????

HI, MY NAME IS DANNY AND I MY CASE PROCESSING STARTED ON 15TH JAN 2008. I RECEIVED MY MEDICALS ON 09TH OCTOBER 2008 AND WAS ASKED TO SUBMIT IT MAXIMUM BY 09TH NOV 2008. I SUBMITTED MY CASE WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER I RECEIVED THE MAIL. IT IS 15TH DECEMBER NOW AND I STILL HAVE'NT RECEIVED ANY ANSWER FORM THE CANADIAN EMBASSY. DO THEY USUALLY TAKE THIS MUCH TIME?? MY AGENT SAYS THAT ALL WE CAN DO NOW IS WAIT AND IS UNABLE TO TELL ME THE APPROXIMATE TIME RANGE. KINDLY HELP. THANKS

I submitted my medical around September too and haven't received any update. My lawyer said, it normally take 4-5 mos. before receiving passport request.

If I may request, maybe would be nice to type your post accordingly, NOT ALL CAPS.

Thanks..

Topic: PPR 2008 quota exhausted for Buffalo and local offices in U.S.

guys, i think the topic here is about PPR 2008 for Buffalo office not police/fbi clearance etc. if you would like to discuss the FBI/Police clearance, you can open another thread for that.

let's have some respect on the original poster and stay on the topic of the thread.

thanks.

Topic: Applied in India Visa in London. Is this possible?

if your in UK but submitted your application in India, you should submit/update your document in New Delhi CHC. with regards to medical, you can take your medical in UK as along as the doctor you undergo medical exam is accredited by CIC.

Topic: getting fbi clearance in usa

you should be able to get an FBI clearance even you are out-of-status. that's not a problem.

Topic: Bank Statements not requested

they will request it to you for sure. the CIC might thought its not yet time. proof of funds is one of the basic requirements in migrating to canada.

Topic: How to get a certified copy of a U.S. diploma

i think what you need is a notarize copy of your diploma, not certified. make a copy of your original diploma and bring it to a person who is authorized to notarize a document or you can bring it on any bank and have them notarize it. that's what I did on my diploma and transcript of records before submitting it to CIC.

Topic: Bad credit history in US

no, it should not affect your application in case you have a bad credit history.
