I finally received the magic email stating that my card production has been ordered!!

CIS is definitely processing cases in the fastest pace ever after the NC memo came out couple months ago.

Topic: infopass and phone call experience today (I have headache).

we should stop calling or making infopass with CIS unless it's a urgent case. They would never give us a 100% sure answer, this would just make us more frustrated on top of waiting for GC. WTF wrong with the system? come on, we pay taxes, we contribute to the industry, we help the economy grows, we pay ten of thousand of $ for our H1, GC applications, why are we still have to stuck in this nonsense mess....

last week had a lot of approvals, but look at this week, I don't see any threads with "I got the magical mail" "I am green" etc..

what's wrong with CIS this week? or people who got approvals just didn't post or update their profiles?????

27.8% of approvals in March 08 alone is a pretty good news, looks like CIS is doing something on EB3 ROW finally. This could be driven by the new NC memo. Hopefull there are more and more approvals in April onward. let's just put our fingers crossed and pray everyday!!

by the way, how did you find out your NC is clear? I called CIS few weeks ago, the IO told me that he didn't have any info for my NC status. But I have seen people in this forum obtained their NC status through calling CIS. I am confused!

Congrat!

by looking at your profile, noticed that your 485 notice date was 05 Jun 2007. However, the current processing timeframe in TSC of 485 is 10 April 2007. How could your case get to process with a notice date of Jun 2007.

My case is pretty close to yours, my notice date is couple weeks after yours. does that mean I will get my welcome email pretty soon?

I strongly think that they are doing the raffle. I think they randomly pick a case with current PD and process it. I have seen some cases got approved even though their cases (labor cert + 485) were filed before me. This sux!
