Hi,
Thanks for your reply...But where is this mentioned that you are supposed to multiply your earnings with 5.3 after converting them to GBP?
When I took the online point assessment test on Border and Immigration site, it asked for the country I reside in, then it asked me to convert my earnings in GBP and after that it did not say anything about the factor 5.3.
Have u taken the points calculation test on the site after 1st April?

Hi,
Has anyone noticed the new rules for earning points from the previous
earnings have been upward revised drastically? If you are in India,
earlier to get the 45 points you need to have earnings 7500+ GBP but
now the same has been revised to 40,000+ GBP.
This would mean a lot of people who used to earlier clear the points based criterion will not be able to clear it now.
Is my understanding correct or I have missed something in interpretation?
