I agree with LRIndy, you would hear from them through official channels. If you look for usafis you will actually see that they cater for the 'green card lottery', not employment based applications.

Topic: Email notifications also working for TSC again

Earlier someone said they got email from NSC; and just now i received notification from TSC - seems to be working again in general.
They received response to an RFE on AP - interesting what's happening now, since I have actually received my green card in the meantime :)

I was also quizzed about my degree, and my challenge was that my certificate doesn't show exact hours. Also I was not able to get additional paper from my university in Germany.
The attorneys ended up using an educational evaluation service who explained my degree and how it compares to a US degree. My I-140 was approved 2 weeks after TSC received this paper.

Topic: 6 Soft LUD in a week and half

I also had several soft LUDs in October, after our response to RFE was received.
And this morning finally a hard LUD: Approval notice sent. So hopefully you guys are following :)

it took exactly a week to receive the actual letter. my RFE was related to education, apparently what was provided in the original application wasn't sufficient. so really, until you receive the letter, you won't know what it is.

EAD renewal filed 7/18/2008 receive date 7/25/2008 approval 08/22/2008 (2 year EAD)
I guess i got lucky, only took about a month
I was on vacation for 2 weeks, so I do not know when exactly the card arrived, but I have it in my hands now
