Dear friends,
even i faced the same problem when i asked Bangalore Koramangala main branch (ICICI). When i requested they said they
used to give statement in plain paper only. But when I came to know through one of the staff that as the ICICI logo paper was out of stock they are using plain sheet.
But as a customer you/we have all rights to ask in sheet with Logo.
I got my statement from Koramangala 3rd block branch, where they had this paper ( that has ICICI logo ).

Hi Vinay,
As per my experience, we may not need to give them the exact conversion rate. keep some tolerance of 5 to 10 %.
In my bank statement, i just mentioned that i've maintained, say, 3 lakhs, only. I did not mention about the conversion rate.
Keep enough money and also the
1. source of money, as how you got it.
2. do one transaction and get the letter from bank, so that it confirms you have so and so amount between x and y date.

Dear Friends,
Today i've received my passport with my original docs. I could see the UK EC stamp from Dec 2008 to Dec 2011.
What i puzzled is I did not receive any email on this. and i've applied only on 17th of Oct.
My details are
1. Initial HSMP - 22nd Feb 2008.
2. HSMP Approval - 19th May 2008
( i've given the address as "care of", so it got delayed )
3. taken a loan from bank and deposited the amount ( ~ 3500 GPB )
( it happens to me that atleast 3 transactions will be there in a week )
4. VFS BANGALORE - submission for EC on 17th Oct 08
5. INTEGRA VERIFICATIOn - 21st Oct-08 to my office phone and verified my
designatgion, approximate salary and date-of-birth. They said they are
calling from Mumbai and they also sent a mail to my HR and got
the respose.
6. STAMPING -- 10th Nov 2008 Passport received with stamp - 3 yr validity ( starting from 1st week of Dec 08 )
7. The documents i've submitted are listed below...
**Origianl HSMP document list
**Original HSMP approval letter
**Payslip for the month Feb-07 to Sep-08
**Corresponding Salary account bank statement - highlighting my salary deposit
(Make use the company name is listed in the bank statement, this help them a lot in verification )

@@ As i'd taken the loan - i've submitted the photo copy of the DD that i received from bank statement
@@ Personal loan approval document letter from the bank
@@ In my case, salary account is in one bank ( say, Axis ) and Maint Fund is in another ( say, ICICI )
I've even attached the deposit slip that i used to deposit the DD to my ICICI account
@@ ICICI bank letter confirming that i've maintained at least 3.5 Lakhs ( though 2,800 pound is enough )
between 1st of July 2008 to 14th of Oct 2008. This letter has BANK LOGO & the staff SIGNATURE
and BANK SEAL

@@ For JOB SEARCH... i've registered for totaljobs.com. As i've also applied for few openings, i got some
auto response. I've taken a print out of this job list and auto response and attend along with application.

Sorry to hear this.
I couldn't understand your query. What do you mean by " They want a letter from Bank where I'm maintaining account ".
Let us say that the salary account is in CITI and fund maintenance is in ICICI.
Then, i assume that you would have given the following,
1. For Fund maintenance, a letter from ICICI stating that you are maintaining the minimum of 2800 GBP for so and so date.
(with seal and attest)
2. For Fund maintenance, 3 or 6 months bank statement showing that a minimum of 2800 GBP is maintained all days.
( with seal and attest )
3. 3 or 6 months CITI bank statement to show that your salary amount shown in your last 3 payslips are deposited in your
CITI bank salary account ( with seal and attest )
Even with the above 3 document, did they refuse the visa ?
