Topic: Buffalo - requesting info from other offices.. what does that mean?
I just got this email from Buffalo as I was unable to view on e-cas and I was worried about my case:
Your medical results have been received
We have requested background information from other government offices(s). Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.

but all you have to put is name and date of birth..no place of birth.. in a way i'm not worried because they already asked me to do a medical and send more docs in June so wouldnt it say decision made if rejected? |

I have already done my medicals etc but still when I put my file number (the number at the top of the IA) and my details it alway says that they can't find it... why??????????????????????? help!!!!!!!!!!!!!! should I worry? |

yes, I had already sent offer letter from work/etc etc but anyway, everything was sent on Monday and also medical done so its back to the waiting game now........ |

Thanks guys. I am going to mail everything - tax returns, w2s and t4s plus notice of assessment from Canada revenue agency - that way im covered. Of course am sending photocopies. |

I just got my IA and they are asking for my tax returns 2006 and 2007. why? did anyone else get asked this? was I already meant to send it intially? thanks. |
