Soft LUD's: 4/28, 4/29, 5/21 (FP), 5/23, 5/28, 7/21, 7/22. Had a INFOPASS on 12/24 - being told that FBI NC cleared in September and case is ready to be adjudicated. Just sitting tight and waiting... |

Topic: time duration for name check after fingprinting ?
fingerprints usually take few days. FBI Name Check - different for different people - from 48 hours to 3 years. The only way to find out about your FBI NC status is to schedule Infopass.
According to IO my FBI NC was done in September but I haven't had any LUD's since July, so, I assume, Name Check approval doesn't necessary create LUD. |
Topic: Does Santa exist?
Santa isn't the american citizen, he himself needs visa every year to come from Laplandy. So, I'm afraid he can't help you here. |
Topic: I140 and Experience
Thanks. Yes. It appears my overseas experience worked. Did not have any RFE's, just straight approval. |
Topic: Infopass today - good experience
Had an INFOPASS today about my EB-2 ROW I-485 pending (I-140 approved back in July 08).
The lady was very nice. I asked about my FBI NC. It is cleared back in September. Right in front of me she composed and sent the e-mail to some coordinator in Texas that my case is ready to be adjudicated and asked him to do it before visa number becomes unavailable. Let's wait and see.
Wish me good luck |
Topic: When are they going to post the new processing times?
You shouldn't feel so bad. My PD is current but they still dont want to talk to me. |
Topic: LAID OFF!
Yes but what if, theoretically, I'm laid off, I-140 approved (not revoked by employer), I-485 pending for 180+ days and AOS interview is scheduled. If at the time of interview I am unemployed and don't have any job offers ... does that mean I'm screwed?
I am not in that situation but trying to be ready for worst case scenario. |
Topic: spoke to IO today im confused
themen,
Where did you get this information?
I have never heard anything like this. All i know is once you lost your job and didn't use AC21 you screwed and I-485 is denied and they don't care about your finances. |
Topic: LAID OFF!
ashwin80:
But what if that is a job offer for future employment? Are paystubs still needed? |
Topic: Criminal record and no interview?
I said "yes" on the original application and attached all court documents. FBI has no records on it since I wasn't arrested or fingerprinted. I was just issued the citation to court and my lawyer handled that. My appearance in court wasn't even required. |
Topic: Criminal record and no interview?
Folks
Did anybody here with minor non CIMT criminal record (i.e. misdemeanor) got their EB GC approved without interview?
Or no matter how small it is one should get the interview appointment no matter what (concidering he/she disclosed it in application and provided USCIS with court documents)? |
