hello
i and my spouse were approved on Oct 5th and we got the message - card production ordered - we replied to rfe on Oct 2 ( faxed RFE to NSC officer - as the rfe was faxed to my lawyer and was asked to send response via fax addressing to officer name)
Seen LUD on 10/5, 10/6 ,10/7
Keeping fingers crossed - should not be a computer glitch. I did not recieve the welcome noice just the card production ordered letter.

i got 2 rfes - one in sep 2008 and one fax rfe on sep 3 2009.
Faxed Rfes are common when the case is with an officer to adjudicate, in order to prevent delay they fax the rfe to lawyer - once response is recieved the application can be approved.

hi all
my GC approved today.
my priority date is: dec 2004
own labor - EB2 category
Applied 485 during the july fiasco and applied ap and ead 2 times
got RFE : for EVL ( living in different state other than where labor was filed), how did i maintain status with dates, exit entry dates into USA, chronological dates for employment including oncampus ( F1). submitted RFE in sep 2008.
When current in sep 09: i did the following ---
1) Created SR on Aug 24 2009 - got a standard reply need more time
2) on Sep 3 2009 - a Fax RFE was sent to lawyer asking for EVL ( since living in a different state other than employer) - I did not know about tis till sep 29
3) took Infopass - no new info as told to me
started calling service center and was told that case is assigned to an officer
)4) took infopasss agian - no new info except pending at NSC
started calling service center and was told that case is assigned to an officer
5) contacted senators office - sent all documents via fax and called them a couple of times - always same reply i am yet to work on the case.
6) we faxed and also sent RFE to NSC via mail on Oct 2nd - today got the approval emails for both me and my spouse.

My case status stilll shows that Response for rfe recieved from last year and i took 2 infopass and called uscis but no one told me that rfe was sent by officer via fax ..may be file is still on the officers desk .

My file was with an office all september and just came to know that an Rfe was faxed to lawyer for EVL and living in a different state and officer wanted Lawyer to fax the document to NSC.
my Analysis:
1) moving through differents states and applying ar-11 and changing addresss with Uscis - got me 2 rfes for EVL and living in a different state.
i opened an SR on Aug 24 - so may be then my file was assigned to officer
hoping to get approved in October.

Vd484 - Dec 2004 NSC - called IO - file with officer , called again - preadjudicated - contacted senator in phoenix - no use still pending, took infopass - officer told it is pending - nothing new
i guess you just need some luck for GC.

My application recieved date is july 02 07 and my Notice date is sept 25 2007 , i was wondering if this is affecting my application to be processed. I opened an SR on Aug 21 and see that most of them who opened sr on aug 25 got approved ..so am wondering if this is why i am not getiing approved.

Thank you for the info ..can some one tell me what options to select. I have opened a service request on Aug 21 and got the standard message and i notice that most of them are getting their GC , as a last resort i want to take an infopass appointement.

RFE recieved by lawyer in august, status was showing as case pending and response sent to uscis and now status is showing as - rfe sent in august ...i am not sure what to do ..do i take infopass to see if they recieved rfe response.
did this happen to anyone.

hello
My husband took infopass for EAD and also asked about 485 status the IO took both our 485 numbers and said that - for both 485 cases - additional evidence needed letters were sent.
any one has a situation like this - where the online status shows as recieved and pending. and still recieved an RFE.
