Topic: Anyone with HSMP Approval Letter applying for Tier1 after 1st April

hi mano123,
even if the hsmp letter expires and u GET a VISA, its not a problem.

the only thing we have to take care is that the hsmp approval should not expire during the time of application and processing of VISA.

Topic: Anyone with HSMP Approval Letter applying for Tier1 after 1st April

hey Bindas,
i guess i am not the right person to say abt ur chances of getting visa coz i am also in the same ship as all of u. i am just waiting for the july 1st week so that i complete my 3-months maintenance rules criteria and go for stamping.
i can only wish u all the best and hope u will get ur visa stamped. and since u r meeting all the required criteria i find no reason that u wont get stamped. so hope for the best :)

Hi Bindas,
>I had also submitted an Job offer of 45,000GBP in UK.
Can u please guide me as to how you applied/processed/got the job offer in UK?
U can send me the details like if u cleared interview through telephone etc and send to my personal email id vikas.kulkarni@gmail.com since it will be a little off-topic to discuss in this thread
thanks

Topic: Anyone with HSMP Approval Letter applying for Tier1 after 1st April

hi sanjeevsanj,
i guess u r mixing new rules with old rules, as per new rules it is nil for the dependent only if both individual and dependent applications are sent together.
as per old rules, i think it is 200gbp separately.

Topic: Anyone with HSMP Approval Letter applying for Tier1 after 1st April

Hi bond011,
The policy guideline u r referring to seems to be for candidates who are applying within UK, because no where in the PDF I found 2800 pounds mentioned. There is only 800 pounds mentioned which is applicable only to candidates applying within UK. So Please verify and then post in the forum because people here already are very much confused abt these new rules.

Hi ramhsmp,
800pounds is for those candidates who have applied from within UK and got their approval letter. People who have applied outside UK will have to maintain 2800pounds for a period of 3 months from the date of EC application.

And IT returns for the last three years is more than sufficient.

Thanks a lot skhsmp for ur time to reply to the queries.
Because of this maintainence rules, I am going for EC in July even if I have letter dated FEB.

Lets hope for the best :)

Topic: Anyone with HSMP Approval Letter applying for Tier1 after 1st April

Hi skhsmp,
I got my approval letter in FEB'08 and planning to go for EC asap, here are my queries for you;

1. Did u only fill VAF 9A and 9B or u filled VAF-2 also?
2. What was the fees, 200GBP or 350GBP?
3. Have you maintained 2800GBP for last three months?

If any other inputs please provide since there is lot of confusion revolving around this new process and also do not forget to post your result of EC. Wish you all the very best.

Thanks

Topic: Fee not yet debited

Hi Sanjit,
Its nice to hear from u this news as I hold a Valid HSMP approval letter (got on MAR 4th) as per the old rules.
So now I am clear that I dont have to follow the Tier-1 (General) rules to get the VISA and I can follow the old rules of EC.

Though my one query regarding the old EC rules is;
how much amount I will have to maintain in my bank account and for how many days from the date of application?
if possible give me the details about the liquid cash+fixed assests etc.

thanks a lot for your valuable information
