Topic: 140 approved yesterday

Hi sjmajm

I am trying to understand what do you mean when you say soft LUD and hard ALUD. Can you explain please? My case is not there yet. But I need t understand these terms sothat when they start to eventually touch my case, I will know what they talking about. In fact my EB3 is about 300 days pending after I filed it, after a wait of about 6 years for a LC.

Reading the success and long waitng stories of others keep my spirit going

Thanks

Wau

Topic: EB1C Nebraska & Texas filers " Oct 2006-Dec 2007" pending cases

Hello zedizedon

The reply was that I will have to wait until December 2008 to submit another RS. I was told that once one have made a RS and received a reply to it, you cannot submit another one before 60 days. The last one, I gave the reason as "humanitarian cicumstances". But it didn't work. This time I wanted to try "Non-profit status" because it is actually a church that is petitioning for me. So I gues I will just wait another moth or so... hoping that they will come to my case in the mean time

Topic: EB1C Nebraska & Texas filers " Oct 2006-Dec 2007" pending cases

Hello Canadaeb1c

It worked. I eventually got through. This one was at least conversational and gave me exact information with regard to the status of my case, I assume there at NBR. The information she gave was that my case is still pending and is not assigned yet to a processing officer. Previously when a reached the Nasional Office they would just tell me the standard procedures as to how to place a SR and kind off determined right there that I did not qualify. But thanks again to your quick response and advise. I probably should try to wait another 4-6 months before I try the POJ method again.

Canadaeb1c

It did not work. I probably didn't do it right. I went good till 1,2,2, thereafter the 1,2,2,6,1 rule couldn't be followed.

1 English language choice

2 Status of application

2 To type in Case no

Next ther was no option for a 6. The highest no was a 7

Maybe you should next to each number of 1,2,2,6,1 what the option is for. Maybe that will help

Thanks for your quick response

Hello canadaeb1c

Can you tell me what is the POJ method. What does it stand for and how do you about doing it. I need to phone in for a SR to have my case expedited.

Topic: employment based interview done

The details of your case looks like mine. I also filed Laborcertification April 2001 which was approved in Sep 2007. I just filed 485, 140, 765 concurrently. I will go for biometrics March 04. What can I expect next?

Topic: Talking to you should erase my ignorance

My 485 has been filed recently, concurrently. I am going Tuesday March 04, 2008 for biometrics. Is biometrics the same as fingerprints #1 and #2, or is it something completely different. What is the next step after the biometrics, and how long can I expect to wait for that. I have been waiting 7 years for a Laborcertification until Sep 2007. My case was filed with USCIS Feb 01. I am really tired of waiting. Also, their nothing in about any fees for my biometrics. Or, should I take some money with just in case I have to pay anything.

How long will it take till I have my greencard eventually.

Thanks

Topic: Can I grandfather a new I-360 application?

Hello !

Do you think my pending LC (I-140) will be able to grandfather a new I-360 application? I have filed this application in April 2001 and is still waiting for my LC to be approved. But right now I do qualify to apply for a I-360.

Let me know

Topic: Can I convert to Perm?

I have a NON-RIR pending (I-140 application to follow). I applied in April 2001. Still waiting for LC. Can I convert to Perm and apply for I360 instead seeing that I am a licenced/ordained minister.

I assume it won't work to convert my Non-RIR to a RIR in order to apply for a R1 visa

What do you say
