Topic: HELP YOUR OPINIONS NEEDED

I think I know, I don't belong to those categories. I'm an EB3 Nurse, so I guess I have no more choice but to give up the case and probably star over again. I think there's a possibility that I could retain my priority date. Thank you Mr. Vulcan

thank you MrVulcan for your reply...God Bless U. Would you happen to know which categories are exempted? I was able to talk to my lawyer and she said that if in case my PD will be current, I should proceed with the interview, but I am afraid cause it may get me into trouble as you mentioned

Topic: HELP YOUR OPINIONS NEEDED

Hi. Sorry if i wasn't able to give enough info. Here's the thing, I am applying for a GC through consular processing here in the Philippines. My supposedly employer filed my I-140 and it was approved last January 2006. My priority date is August 31, 2006. Currently all my documents have been completed and I am just waiting for my priority date to be current. Just when I am a few more months away, my employer's business (nursing agency in the US) closed. Its not clear to us if he already declared bankruptcy but he told us that we are not going to have any difficulty finding a sponsor once we are in the US. Should I still continue my case if for instance my priority date becomes current this next visa bulletin of maybe in the next fiscal year? What do you think are my chances to have a visa if I proceed with the interview say in case my supposedly employer would not retract the petition? Thank you again :)

thank you guys for your reply. Seems like I have posted on the wrong thread. Old monk is a bit grouchy ehh..peace man. I just wanted your opinions badly cause right this time i'm in a limbo. My PD is Aug 2006, consular processing, my I140 is already approved right now the NV is asking me some documents for updates...to make the story short I am currently waiting for the visa, just when my supposedly employer backed-out. Please I need some advice on what to do. Thank you...

hi guys. I've been an avid follower of this blog. I have a question please anyone who can answer me. My PD is Aug 2006. I have been waiting for years now and currently my employer backed out. Can this affect my immigration petition?
