nothing happened to my I-140/485, which were denied on March 23... I guess we do not have to worry about this as long as the appeal/MTR was received before the deadline... what I want to know is why I can not tract the receipt number.. It seems you have not this problem, right? when did you submit your MTR, got your receipt number and can track it online?

my case is NIW at NSC, appeal (MTR) received on 11 April, receipt number got on 15 April, no information available for the number yet..

I have posted issue for several times, but no one had similar experience answered my question, so please let me try one more time!

I submitted my appeal and got a receipt number two weeks ago (LIN081435****), but there is still no information for this number in the USCIS automatic database -- it just simply said no this number.. I called the NSC and talked with a guy, and he had information with this number as when the 290B was received. He refused to tell me why this number was not trackable... so any of you have similar experience please give me some clues. Thank you very much.

thanks to you all... I just thought they would had information input into the system as they received the appeal... otherwise, the online tracking system was useless...

thanks.. I got the number from the check and my attorney, just the number is not in their system! Just called a representative at USCIS, and he had information of my appeal case (when it arrived) but no information at the online system! the guy also said it takes a year to process an appeal!

an LIN0814*** number was issued for my appeal a week ago, but I could not find any information about it -- the online search system simply said "wrong number".. anyone had similar experience for appeal? Thanks in advance for ideas.

appeal was received 5 days ago, check was chased, nothing changed as online status... a LIN number found at the back of cashed check but could not search it againt USCIS database (it said wrong number)... anyone has an idea? many thanks!

My layer is asking 1K for appeal but charge me nothing for resubmit NIW (I will have to pay balance for the original NIW once it is approved in either appeal or resub-NIW) and $3K for Eb1.

I got exactly same RFE as you did, and did almost same as you did and got denied as well!

you should also try submit a EB-1B or 1A

my attorney will do appeal to save my I-485 and a new NIW or EB-1A

at least my case was not handed over to FBI: I got REF today from my lawyer, and it seemed NSC now are very strict on NIW:

REF for more citation after the petition and explain "why not go through labor certification process since now it is quick!"
