Topic: "Decision Made" what are my possibilities?

Hi, I made a mistake in my first post, when I started the process I claimed 22 points for education, but during the process I obtained a Master degree, so, At May, 15, 2008 I sent to Buffalo by fax, an official letter that certified that I had finished my coursework, and in addition, at August, 01 I sent to Detroit , the new consulate that now has my file, by fax an official letter from the Dean of the graduate college that certified that I had done.

My question is; Do you think that they did not consider my new degree because I sent it by fax twice? Do you think that I can appeal this decision?

In advance thanks for your comments.

Topic: "Decision Made" what are my possibilities?

Hi everyone, this is my case, I hope you can give some orientation;

I applied at December, 2007, under the federal skilled worker class, to the Canadian permanent residence. This week I checked my status online and it says "decision made". My concern is because I have not received an initial assessment or medical request prior to this status change. Checking in different discussion forums related with this topic, I found that usually it means that my case was refused.

If this is the case, I think that a possible reason for this rejection is because when I started the process I claimed 25 points for education, but I had not finished my Master program in that time yet, so I sent a official letter from the University that certified that I will finished the master program very soon (approximately in one semester). At May, 15, 2008 I sent to Buffalo by fax, an official letter that certified that I had finished my coursework, and in addition, at August, 01 I sent to Detroit , the new consulate that now has my file, by fax an official letter from the Dean of the graduate college that certified that I had done.

My question is; Do you think that they did not consider my petition because I sent it by fax twice? Do you think that I can appeal this decision?

In advance thanks for your comments.

We haven't received the letter yet, from the consulate, however based on all the comments in the forum, we think, we are rejected, So, right now, we don't know how many points they gave us.

As soon we know it, we will let you know.

Thanks for your help

Topic: I need help to find a good attorney to appeal

Today I checked my status online, and it says "Decision Made" It happens before I received the medical request, so, I think that my case was rejected. For this reason, I need to find a good attorney that can help me to appeal.

I hope that you can help me.
