Topic: The Last Week of 2008 Turned out to be the Best Week of 2008 for ME!

Not only did I reach the 500 day club this week (i.e., 500 days since I filed my I-485 without approval) but I actually got approved this week!!!

I am now free to commit felonies, evade taxes, carry unregistered firearms....you name it, I can finally start living in freedom like a true American!!!

Thank you Allah, Buddah, Jehovah, Zeus, Jesus or whatever other God finally ordered my card production! I owe ya!

Their is nothing to advise good buddy. You are right on point calling it bullsh*t and bewildering. I feel for you.

Topic: Citizenship

I understand (from some source I can't recall) that you should remain at your current employer for at least 6 months post-green card with 2 years being optimal. Also, I'm not sure that switching jobs would impact anything related to citizenship.

I don't know what would affect your wife's application but wouldn't you just want to have her's in the bag before you made any moves - just to be on the safe side?

Topic: wife's gc card incorrectly states her sex to be male :)

It's so easy to name call isn't it? Do you know how many green cards are issued daily? errors will occur so we deal with them. My name was spelled wrong but I did not curse anyone.

They spell names wrong too - those buffoons. Yet another reason for anxiety...

Man that really sucks. I feel for you. USCIS is filled with a bunch of maroons.

Now I've got a whole new thing to worry about - what if my GC, if I ever get it, says I'm a female when I'm actually a dude?!?!?! I can't handle this added pressure!!!

That's a good point. If Jesus plays hardball with my GC then there's always Allah I can turn too. He's been a reliable source of GC's for so many trackitt users.

An ADIT stamp shows you've been accepted in the US as a legal immigrant. You can use it to travel in and out of the US until you get your green card.

Thank you Jesus!

First of all, congratulations! Second, it's about time Jesus stepped-up and delivered a green card. Allah's been handing green cards like crazy lately so I'm happy to see Jesus get in the mix. Maybe he'll give me one next!

Nobody knows...sorry friend. I would expect a long wait however. Long as in several years.
