You think that if you have an interview visa number is available you are ok, but not you always stack because of something else like: additional review, extended review, background check. Good help us all. USICS does not have a hart; we are only cases in on the paper. Do they realize what is the effect on people’s life, how much not having green card is complicating our lives? |

There is more then two months since my interview and nothing. The IO told me that my background check did to come beck yet. I know from my congressional liaison that my name check, ibis and fingerprint were all cleared in April, 2008. The only thing is: is Egyptian any think this is an issue. What do you guys think? Before it was a problem because of my name check, pending for almost two years and now background check is an issue. Always something. |
Topic: what impact LEHMAN BROTHERS fall can have on the US Economy?
We will see soon how deep is the impact, when Lehman starts unloading their assets to pay debts. There will be more banks to come, big probability of that. I work in this industry and situations doesn’t’t look good at all. It is not about Lehman it is about domino effect and many parties involved in the scam called CDO’s. Imagine 1 $ of debt made up 30 dollars of new of debt. Imagine that. I hope I am not right and FED thought it through, did the calculation and thinks that the situation is not as serious like in the case of Bern Stern or they just don’t have anymore money to put in the market to bail out everybody who is sinking because of their greed. Fed is already pushing a lot of money to the systems to keep the liquidity, we will see within couple of days if this is enough, or there is not anymore money to lend and borrow. I hope I am mistaken. |

Please let me know what kind of check USCIS is waiting for in addition to IBIS, fingerprints and FBI name check. I confirmed these check were done through senator’s office. Local USCIS office is saying that they are waiting for background check. What do they mean by that? Please share ideas. Thank you. |
