| INFO-PASS FOR PENDING I- 485 |

Hi Folks,
I went for infopass yesterday and got some useful info.My case is pending since Nov 2005.I've called CS several times but all I've been getting is same response..........'We are activey processing this case and bla bla bla.........'I didnt know whether its name check or not but at the local office,I got a very helpful person who even pulled my fbi file and showed it to me where it says name check pending.He said that after the memo,namecheck is not an issue any longer but they have a huge backlog of namecheck pending cases waiting adjudication.He wasn't specific how long b4 I receive a decision but mentioned it might be 30-60days from then.He further said that since my FP have expired,they might require renewal b4 adjudication.Anyone who is in this category.I'm confident now its namecheck but not sure whats next though hopeful.Anyone got approval or card ordered notice recently? |
